Meet The Organizer

Sophia Blunt is the organizer of Memphis Dancesport Spectacular and co-owner of Prestige Ballroom the premiere ballroom studio in Memphis, Tennessee.

She is a long time patron of dance and began dancing at the age of 3 for Footlight Dance Company in Sun Valley Idaho. Sophia danced through high school and college and was co president of the Murray Dance Company. Sophia discovered ballroom in 2009 and immediately fell in love with it. 

Professional partner Anthony Parks and Sophia currently dance 9 dance and own Prestige Ballroom together. Sophia is very excited to bring ballroom dance competition back to Memphis, and wants to share her love of dance with everyone at Memphis Dancesport Spectacular.
